The Sangamon, Illinois County Road and Bridge Committee discussed petitions for drainage improvements and other items during its meeting this morning.
There are two drainage improvement petitions relating to two bridges located in Cotton Hill Township. These are located on Vigal and Galloway roads.
The committee is also scheduled to take consideration to allow two county staff members to travel to the Illinois Association of County Engineer spring meeting that is set to take place in O’Fallon between April 18 and 20. There will also be deliberation and a vote to approve a bid for a project on Macoupin County Line Road to replace a culvert. There will also be discussion regarding the approval of supporting emergency response signage on multi-use trails.
The meeting minutes from Jan. 26 was also reviewed and voted on by the committee.
The next committee meeting will be on March 30.
