Chatham Village to discuss property annexation, social media policy

Meeting

The Village Committee of the Whole of Chatham, Illinois will be holding a partial session on Tuesday, March 8 to discuss an annexation agreement with Anna Twyford regarding her family trust.

A public hearing regarding this measure was held on Feb. 18 at the Chatham Municipal Building. As a trustee for both the Anna Twyford 2011 Trust and the Twyford Family Trust, she is requesting that the land, a 2.812-acre area, to be annexed and zoned as an I-1 plot. The petition states that the property would be annexed to the village. It also notes that the area is not located within any other municipality.

During this meeting the board will be presenting a review of social media policies and guidelines for employees of the village. Included within the meeting agenda is a receipt and acknowledgement form. This form informs what employees and elected officials of the village are authorized to do on their professional and personal social media presence.

During this meeting minutes from the Feb. 9 meeting will be reviewed by the board and voted for approval. This meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
