The Carbondale Sustainability Commission will consider a proposed polystyrene foam and plastic-bag ban at its next meeting 6 p.m. Thursday in Room 103 of City Hall's Civic Center, 200 S. Illinois Ave.
The commission also will receive a status report on the former Koppers Wood Treating Site.
The commission also will consider a proposed graduated trash fee and the use of porous concrete on sidewalks and driveways.
