The Sangamon County Liquor Committee was expected to consider new, temporary and special-event permit requests at its meeting this week.
The Sangamon County Liquor Committee approves all licenses for public dance halls and taverns, works with the board chairman in his capacity as liquor control commissioner and acts as the liquor commission for the county.
