The campaign committee Fairness for Working Families owes a $12,500 fine imposed on Feb. 27, 2015, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $50 with Jim Grimes listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show nine area campaign committees owe a combined total of $36,192.70 in pending fines.
