Reports:

Chief Roesch reported that they have a plan to improve the efficiency of the records Division. The Records Division has really changed over the years. We will eliminate a records clerk and have an Assistant Director of Records who will be a working supervisor. It will create a savings because we will use someone in the Division now. We will cross train everyone in the Records Division. We won't be requesting more money. We aren't submitting anything today. (probably in the next 30 days) DelGiorno asked if the orders that are entered could be streamlined with the Circuit Clerk's office & the Records Division. The Chief would love to see something like that. They may try to work with Tyler Technologies to see what they can do.

Asst. Superitendent Durr reported that the jail count is 349. Overtime hours for last week were 534.

Coroner Edwards reported that Deputy Coroner Allmon is back to work today after taking leave for a family funeral. He is back at work today. Edwards presented opiate statistics to the committee. Next meeting Edwards hopes to have opiate statistics with locations. Edwards says if it weren't for narcan, we would be running around picking up bodies. Friday & Saturday were very busy for her office. Chief Roesch asked the Coroner Xanax. Edwards says Xanax bars are going around. (bought on the street)

DelGiorno passed around an obituary of a young woman who died of a heroin overdose. She was 6 months pregnant at the time. Edwards says she was supposed to go to rehab on Monday, 5/15 but she  died on 5/12.
