Sangamon County Civil Liabilities Committee met July 20.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Present: Craig Hall - Chairman, Mike Sullivan-Vice Chairman, Pam Deppe, Lisa Hills, David Mendenhall, Sam Snell, Greg Stumpf, Joel Tjelmeland and Linda Douglas-Williams

Not Present: One

Others: Dwayne Gab, Todd Smith, Brad Hammond, Annette Fulgenzi, Rose Ruzic & Mary Carter (secretary)

Chairman Hall called the meeting to order at 515p. Sullivan made a motion to approve the minutes from June 15th. Deppe seconded and the motion carried (9-0)

Brad Hammond came to the meeting to explain to the committee about the 10,525 requisition. It is a requisition to cut a check from the insurance fund to the Public Health Department. The PH Department is being reimbursed (a portion) for purchasing vehicles and this money offsets the costs. They previously had a few vehicles that were in accident & the other drivers were at fault.

Dwayne Gab was present to update the committee on a few cases. Snell made a motion to go into closed session st 523p and Mendenhall seconded. Motion carried (9-0)

Douglas- Williams made a motion to come out of closed session at 533p, Hills seconded and the motion carried (9-0)

The requisitions were reviewed and signed. Mendenhall made a motion to approve the requisitions and Tjelmeland seconded. Motion carried (9-0)

There was no old business or public comment. Stumpf made a motion to adjourn and Snell seconded. Motion carried (9-0) and the meeting adjourned at 5:34 p.m.
