Here is the minutes as provided by the board:

The Williams Township Cemetery Board was called to order at 6:25 P.M. by president Nadine Hayward. In attendance were Trustees Mark Phillips and Duane Weiss. Frank Kohlrus was also in attendance.

The November 11, 2017 minutes were reviewed and Duane Weiss made the motion to approve. Mark Phillips seconded.

The monthly finances and payment of bills were reviewed. Mark Phillips made the motion to accept the finances and bills as presented. Duane Weiss provided the second.

Last month, Mark Phillips, Duane Weiss, and Nadine Hayward planted 10 bushes on the south side of the dirt pile. Hopefully, this will help camouflage the dirt pile.

Frank Kohlrus states he wants to clean the brush at both Wolf Creek and Stewart Cemeteries.

Nadine Hayward called Martin Equipment today and talked to them regarding repairs to the backhoe. She talked to Jason and Frank and they will take it tomorrow.

Salaries were discussed at length. It was determined that due to Frank’s continued initiative and unfailing dedication to the cemetery, the board wishes to show their appreciation by increasing his hourly wage by a minimum of $1.00 to $16.00/hour. Duane Weiss made the motion, Mark Phillips made the second, motion carried unanimously.

Also, a motion was made by Duane Weiss that any trustee who does any labor at the cemetery ie: traffic control, mowing, trimming bushes, straightening stones should be paid $15.00/hour. Mark Phillips seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
