New Business 

Coroner, Jim Allmon 

∙ Approve to hire a Summer Intern at a rate of $16.50/hour for 15 hours/week for 8 weeks  ($2,000) effective 06/01/2023; this is a new position 

Sheriff, Jack Campbell 

∙ Resolution to approve the application and forward to the County Board for approval of the  Sustained Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) with anticipated grant revenue of $38,161.77;  matching funds not required 

∙ Approve to hire two Deputy at an annual salary of $55,210 effective 03/01/2023; this is a new  position (SMTD) 

∙ Approve to hire a replacement Correctional Officer at an annual salary of $40,362 effective  03/01/2023; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $40,362 on  10/28/2022 and left the payroll system on 11/11/2022 

∙ Approve to hire a replacement Correctional Officer at an annual salary of $40,362 effective  03/01/2023; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $62,145 on  01/09/2023 and was promoted within the department 

∙ Approve to hire a replacement Correctional Officer at an annual salary of $40,362 effective  03/11/2023; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $48,173 on  02/05/2023 and was promoted within the department 

∙ Approve to hire a replacement Correctional Officer at an annual salary of $40,362 effective  03/17/2023; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $59,749 on  02/11/2023 and left the payroll system on 02/17/2023 

∙ Approve to hire a FOIA/Body Worn Camera Redaction Clerk at an annual salary of $35,008  effective 03/01/2023; this is a new position 

∙ Approve a salary adjustment for Phillip Coady, Jury Liaison, with an increase in annual salary  from $14/hour to $18.30/hour effective 03/01/2023 

County Administration, Brian McFadden 

∙ Approval of a contract amendment with the Springfield Sangamon Growth Alliance (SSGA) to  conduct a broadband feasibility study with an increase in cost from $100,000 to $124,000
