State Senator Sally Turner has announced the launch of the "2024 Outstanding Teacher of the 44th Senate District" program. The initiative aims to acknowledge and celebrate exceptional educators who have made a positive impact on their students and communities.

"I am excited to launch my '2024 Outstanding Teacher of the 44th Senate District' program and recognize an exceptional teacher who has gone above and beyond for their students," said Senator Turner.

The program invites nominations for teachers who demonstrate dedication and excellence in their teaching practices. Nominations can be submitted by community members, parents, students, and colleagues who wish to highlight deserving individuals.

Senator Turner emphasized the importance of recognizing teachers who have made a significant difference in the lives of their students. Nominees must currently teach at a grade, middle, or high school within the 44th Senate District.

"The selected teacher will receive recognition from the Illinois State Senate, including an official certificate, an opportunity for special acknowledgment in Springfield, and a gift card as a token of appreciation," Senator Turner explained.

Nominations for the program are open until May 17th and can be submitted online through Senator Turner's official governmental website. The program serves as a gesture of gratitude towards all teachers across the state and the nation.

Senator Turner encouraged everyone to participate in the program by nominating teachers who have positively impacted the lives of their students. For more information about the program and to submit nominations, interested individuals can visit Senator Turner's official website.
