Two Sangamon County residents in their fifties tested positive for COVID-19 on May 29, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
In total, there have been 47 positive cases reported in Sangamon County among residents in their fifties, accounting for 13.6 percent of all cases in the county. Through May 29, Sangamon County has reported a total of 346 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 29 of which have ended with the victim’s death.
