BALL-CHATHAM COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT 5: Your Voice Matters

Ball-Chatham Community Unit School District 5 issued the following announcement on May. 7.

As we reflect on this unique school year and look ahead to how we can make next year even better, we’d like to hear from you!  We are using a new tool called ThoughtExchange and we are excited to try it out together. This tool will allow everyone to share their perspectives and together we will see what is most important to the group.

The District has emailed our parents/guardians the invite to participate. Check your inbox (or click here) to first, access the link, then click the Participate button to first share your thoughts, and then rate the thoughts that others have shared. Your participation is confidential, so no one will know who shared or rated which thoughts. This allows us all to focus on the idea itself, and not the people sharing the ideas. It works best if you come back often to rate new ideas as they come in. The ThoughtExchange will be open until Tuesday, May 11.

Last thoughts:

  • This exchange is confidential. Your thoughts will be shared, but not your identity.
  • Please be polite and respectful as you share and rate thoughts.
  • You do not need to rate all thoughts in this exchange. It is appreciated and recommended to rate around 30 over the time the exchange is open. You’re welcome to rate more!
