BRINC announced on March 24 the opening of a new factory in Seattle, more than doubling its production capacity to meet growing demand for its public safety drones. The company also introduced Guardian, a next-generation drone designed to respond to 911 calls and deliver real-time intelligence to first responders.

The expansion is significant as it enables BRINC to scale up manufacturing at a time when Drone as First Responder programs are being adopted across the country. In the previous year, BRINC reported tripling its revenue and increasing monthly production fivefold, highlighting the need for greater manufacturing space.

Blake Resnick, Founder and CEO of BRINC, said: “Co-locating manufacturing and engineering in Seattle has been a strategic advantage for BRINC, from speed of development to quality control to supply chain resilience. We’ve outgrown our previous facility, and this investment allows us to scale production rapidly while remaining fast, focused, and vertically integrated. As demand for 911 response drones accelerates, we’re committed to building that capability here in the United States.”

Guardian is engineered for autonomous launch within seconds of a 911 call. It features advanced imaging technology and Starlink satellite connectivity so it can provide situational awareness even if cellular networks are down. The system offers over an hour of flight time per mission and includes an automated charging station that swaps batteries without human intervention. Payloads such as AEDs or medical supplies can be loaded automatically.
