Of the 511 citizens living in Tallula in 2019, 407 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 199 of those people were female and 208 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
