Illinois College athlete Dylan Doss has been recognized as the Midwest Conference Men’s Track Performer of the Week, according to an announcement by the league.

Competing under less-than-ideal weather conditions on Friday night, Doss delivered the fastest time nationwide in the outdoor 200 meters. He clocked in at 20.93 seconds during the True Blue Invite. This performance set both a school and an England Stadium record. The sophomore from Sterling, Illinois also achieved victory in the 100 meters with a time of 10.38 seconds, which similarly established record times for both the school and the stadium. His 100-meter achievement is also the best in the conference this season.

Doss has now received this honor from the league for the fifth time in his career.
