Haier Biomedical announced on April 11 the presentation of its comprehensive laboratory solutions at the analytica 2026 exhibition in Munich, under the theme “In Europe, for Europe.” The company highlighted a deepening localization strategy across Europe, supported by regional offices and recent achievements in key European markets.
The announcement is significant as it marks Haier Biomedical’s transition from a traditional equipment supplier to an integrated provider of laboratory solutions. This shift addresses growing needs for advanced sample collection, storage, monitoring, and management among biobanks, research laboratories, and pharmacies.
At analytica 2026, Haier Biomedical showcased a wide range of biomedical research equipment such as CO₂ incubators, biological safety cabinets, centrifuges, pharmaceutical refrigerators, liquid nitrogen containers, autoclaves, newly released shaker incubators for continuous cell suspension culture with precise temperature control, and a sublimation dryer designed for efficient sample drying. Among its innovations was the UltraEco ULT Freezer series equipped with Eco-Drive technology that delivers up to 30% higher efficiency compared to industry standards. The company also introduced fully integrated automated workflows covering sample collection through monitoring—aimed at improving sample integrity and operational efficiency.
Haier Biomedical reported localized operations in 18 countries with over 400 local product certifications and more than 40% of its workforce hired locally. The company said this approach led it to achieve top market share among Chinese brands in six countries. In Italy specifically—where plans are underway to establish a subsidiary—the firm aims to strengthen local service capabilities. Recent projects include delivering specialized biological safety cabinets within 24 hours to Queen Mary University of London; providing an intelligent blood inventory management system (U-Blood) to an Italian hospital; and supplying cryogenic freezers using hydrocarbon refrigerant technology combined with silent operation to leading German universities.
The exhibition signals what Haier Biomedical called a strategic shift from product exportation toward joint ecosystem creation within biomedical sciences—a model combining technology development with local presence. Looking ahead, the company intends to further expand its position in Europe by leveraging local strengths for global growth while striving to become a trusted brand worldwide.
