Kewaunee Scientific Corporation announced on April 14 the appointment of Jorge Santos as Vice President of International Sales for its Laboratory Products Group. Santos will report directly to Thomas D. Hull III, President and Chief Executive Officer.
The company said this move is part of its strategy to accelerate growth in global markets outside North America, especially following the recent addition of Nu Aire’s product portfolio and distribution partners. Hull said, “Jorge’s appointment marks a significant step forward in Kewaunee’s growth strategy outside of the North American market.” He added that historically, Kewaunee has focused on Indian, Middle East, and Asia Pacific markets, with India being the largest market outside the United States.
Hull described Santos as an industry veteran based in Madrid with more than two decades of experience leading commercial and operational teams across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia. “His leadership will help accelerate our momentum as we look to capitalize on the capabilities that the combined Kewaunee and Nu Aire portfolio bring to our global customers,” Hull said.
As Kewaunee expands internationally, domestic sales operations for both Kewaunee and Nu Aire will remain under Ryan Noble’s leadership. The company also highlighted B. Sathyamurthy (Sathya), President of Kewaunee International Group, who continues to lead operations in India—a key market for growth due to ongoing infrastructure investments.
Founded in 1906, Kewaunee Scientific designs and manufactures laboratory furniture products from its headquarters in Statesville, North Carolina. It operates manufacturing facilities in both North Carolina and Bangalore, India. Its subsidiary Nu Aire produces biological safety cabinets and other laboratory equipment from Minnesota locations.
