Middletown Fire Protection District responded to 14 calls in 2018 – 16.7 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Middletown included 13 fires – six structure fires, three vehicle fires and four other fires.

The department also received one false call.

The Middletown Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $128,732 in 2018.
