On October 8, no African American residents of Logan County had COVID-19 tests return positive, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Since the start of the pandemic, 84 African American residents have tested positive for COVID-19, constituting 17 percent of the positive cases in Logan County.
