Rep. Coffey has announced the commencement of the 3rd Annual Summer Reading Program for students in the 95th District. The initiative aims to improve reading and comprehension skills among children while providing an enjoyable experience.

The program invites K-6th grade students to read eight books during their summer vacation. Books with 150 pages or more can be counted twice on the submission form.

Students who complete the challenge by reading eight books and submit their forms by August 1st will be invited to a special Fall pizza party. During this event, participants will receive an official certificate from the Illinois House of Representatives, acknowledging their dedication to reading.
