Yesterday, Rep. Stephens and Senator Martwick co-hosted a Money Smart class focusing on financial education for older adults and their caregivers. The class, led by Jerry Kochowicz, aimed to equip attendees with knowledge to guard against fraud, scams, and elder financial exploitation. The collaboration was organized by Rep. Stephens’ office and Senator Martwick’s office. Rep. Stephens expressed gratitude to Jerry Kochowicz, Senator Martwick, and all participants for their involvement.

Rep. Stephens emphasized the importance of financial literacy for the senior community, stating, “The Money Smart course, presented by Jerry Kochowicz, taught attendees how to prevent fraud, scams, and other forms of elder financial exploitation.”

The event was deemed a success by the organizers and attendees alike.
