Illinois College’s Riley Gardner finished eighth in the high jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on March 14, earning first-team All-American honors at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Alabama.
Gardner, a freshman from Crawfordsville, Indiana, cleared a season-best height of 1.70 meters (5 feet, 7 inches) to secure her place among the top eight competitors and receive All-American recognition.
