SIKORA, a part of MAAG Group and Dover Corporation, announced on April 1 the launch of three new products aimed at improving quality control, production efficiency, and reducing material usage in the wire and cable manufacturing sector. The newly introduced solutions include an addition to the LASER PRO diameter measurement series, the X-RAY 6000 measurement system, and the LM PRO length measuring system.

The company said these innovations are designed to help manufacturers enhance product quality while minimizing resource consumption. Dr. Christian Frank, General Manager of SIKORA, said: “SIKORA’s slogan, ‘Technology to Perfection,’ underscores our commitment to delivering precise measurement and inspection solutions tailored to support our customers’ production requirements. Our latest innovations will help cable manufacturers improve product quality, reduce material consumption and maintain stable, efficient production processes.”

The new systems will be showcased at wire 2026 in Düsseldorf from April 13–17. This event is described as the world’s leading trade fair for the wire and cable industry with participation from over 1,500 exhibitors representing 60 countries.

SIKORA has evolved over more than five decades from a manufacturer of measuring devices for wires and cables into a provider of advanced technologies such as AI-driven systems as well as laser-, X-ray-, radar-, optics-, ultrasound- and electromagnetic-based solutions. Since joining MAAG Group in 2025—a group specializing in integrated polymer processing technologies—SIKORA has expanded its portfolio within MAAG’s Measurement & Control Systems division.

MAAG Group employs more than 1,900 people across multiple continents including Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, USA and China with additional sales centers worldwide. Dover Corporation—the parent company—reports annual revenues exceeding $8 billion through five operating segments focused on equipment manufacturing and digital solutions.
