Chatham Library to hold computing class
The Chatham, Illinois Area Public Library will be holding a computer basics course on Saturday, March 12.
The course will be focused on internet use, an introduction to how the internet works and how to utilize what it has to offer. The course will include information on how to use search engines and research commonly visited websites.
The course will be given by Anne Godman and it will take place in the Chatham Library Computer Lab. This course is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. and is expected to run until 11:30 a.m.
This session is a part of a series of courses on computer use that the library offers on a monthly basis. Other topics that are covered in these courses include basic computer use, printing and scanning documents and an introduction to Microsoft Word. Classes of this kind are on first come, first serve basis and registration with the library will be required to attend the class.
The library offers the computer lab for use during normal library hours when individuals may utilize the computers. The lab also allows for printing services at a charge. Staff is usually present to offer basic assistance.
