The Springfield Housing Authority Board of Commissioners met recently to discuss the approval of the contract extension with American Pest Control Inc.
The board also discussed the approval of contract extensions with Bacon Termite and Pest Control LLC and Orkin Pest Control. Other contracts up for a vote included one with R. L. Vollintine Construction Inc. for kitchen cabinet replacements in the amount of $114,913 and a contract for legal services with Donald A. Lobue.
The board was also scheduled to vote on an agreement with AFSCME Local Union 3982, and the approval of a deed for a new right-of-way for an alley near the Villas at Vinegar Hill.
A contract with Jennings Painting Inc. for painting vacant units for an amount up to $150,000 was also up for a vote.
