Q4 real estate sales report: Auburn

Median prices declined in Auburn over last year, and are down 9.8 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to fourth quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From October to December, 23 homes sold in Auburn for a median price of $95,000. That's 25.5 percent lower than median home sale prices for the fourth quarter of 2017.

In the fourth quarter, 1 home in Auburn was in foreclosure.

Median property tax for homeowners in Auburn was $1,676.09 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 1.3 percent of their home's value in taxes.
