Stanton Street/ Stevenson Drive home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Stanton Street/ Stevenson Drive, a Springfield neighborhood, rose by $1,100 while total sales decreased by 23.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $84,000 - a 1.3% increase over the $82,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 43 homes sold in Stanton Street/ Stevenson Drive in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Stanton Street/ Stevenson Drive for 2017 was $1,965.76. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,888.70. This marks an increase of 4.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
