Jerome home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Jerome, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $4,896.13 while total sales decreased by 38.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $59,500 - a 7.6% decrease over the $64,396.13 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Jerome in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Jerome for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,621.90, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
