Woodside home prices rise in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Woodside, a Springfield neighborhood, rose by $16,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 15 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $221,000 - a 7.8% increase over the $205,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Woodside in May 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Woodside for 2017 was $4,211. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,567. This marks an decrease of 7.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
