Route 4/ Route 97 home prices fall in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Route 4/ Route 97, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $11,250 while total sales decreased by 30%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $73,700 - a 13.2% decrease over the $84,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Route 4/ Route 97 in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Route 4/ Route 97 for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,853, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
