Grandview home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Grandview, a Springfield neighborhood, rose by $3,000 while total sales decreased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $38,750 - a 8.4% increase over the $35,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Grandview in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Grandview for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $986, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
