Jerome home prices fall in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Jerome, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $11,500 while total sales decreased by 9.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $63,500 - a 15.3% decrease over the $75,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 31 homes sold in Jerome in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Jerome for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,622, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
