The Illinois College Rocket League team achieved a decisive 4–0 victory over Arkansas State University–Mountain Home in the NECC postseason on Tuesday night. The Blueboys won each game with scores of 5–1, 5–0, 4–1, and 9–1.
Glenn Conway set a new single-series goal record for Illinois College by scoring 13 goals during the match. His teammate Lucas Barry established a new single-series assist record with 10 assists, surpassing the previous mark held by Conway earlier in the season. Dwight Duijneveld contributed five goals and six assists to support the team's offensive effort.
Following this win, Illinois College is scheduled to play Waldorf University in the next round of the NECC playoffs on Wednesday. The match time has not yet been announced.
