Former Sacred Heart-Griffin High School standout Rosie Bartletti helped lead the UIS Prairie Stars to a 9-1 victory over the Truman State Bulldogs in NCAA Division II softball action Sunday, March 15, at 2 p.m.
The teams met at UIS Softball Complex for their second contest against each other this season. The Prairie Stars dropped their earlier matchup to the Bulldogs 3-2, also on Sunday, March 15.
Bartletti pitched six innings, gave up one earned run, struck out seven hitters, and walked one.
Next, the Prairie Stars are set to face Rockhurst Hawks at UIS Softball Complex on Saturday, March 21, at 12 p.m.
