Village of Chatham Board of Fire Commissioners met April 24.

• CALL TO ORDER

❖ Meeting started at 1728 hours.

• ROLL CALL

❖ Present were Commissioner Holden, Hoskinson and Hill

❖ Absent were:

• APPROVING OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

❖ Open session minutes from March 24, 2023, were discussed, Commissioner Hill made a motion to approve the minutes and was seconded by Commissioner Hoskinson; motion passed.

• PUBLIC COMMENTS AND CONCERNS:

❖ No public comment

• OLD BUSINESS:

❖ No old business.

• NEW BUSINESS:

❖ Discussion on upcoming Lieutenants Promotional Process was discussed.

❖ Commissioners discussed and would like Chief Self to send out a notice to all members eligible to participate in the Lieutenants Promotional process.

❖ Commissioners discussed reading material for the Lieutenants Promotional Process and would like Chief Self to review and update the reading material list and select the material for the process.

❖ Discussed and congratulated Commissioner Hoskinson on his 3-year re-appointment as representative for the Board of Fire Commissioners.

• CLOSED SESSION:

❖ No closed session

• ADJOURNMENT

❖ Motion was made by Commissioner Hill to adjourn the meeting at 1751 hours and was seconded by Commissioner Hoskinson; motion passed.
