The Greater Springfield, Illinois Chamber of Commerce (GSCC) recently issued details regarding the State of the City Luncheon that will take place on April 28.
The event will feature Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno. During the event Sarno will be speaking about the challenges and accomplishments of the city over the past year and provide information regarding the government’s priorities for the rest of 2016 and early 2017. During this, Sarno will address the the status of the city.
The luncheon will be taking place between 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. at the Prairie Capital Convention Center. This event acts as a part of the larger Business Connections 2016 event taking place on the same day.
Attendees that register before April 13 will receive a discount. The cost of attendance is set at $28 for chamber members and $35 for non-members before April 13 and the price following that date is set at $33 and $40, respectively.
The larger Business Connections 2016 event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and is scheduled to run until 7 p.m. with workshops and networking opportunities.
The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce is located at 1011 South Second St., Springfield.
