The Greater Springfield, Illinois Chamber of Commerce (GSCC) will be holding its Business After Hours event on Thursday, March 17.
The chamber offers this event on a monthly basis and it is set up to allow businesses in the area to network with each other and to reach out into the greater business community. The event is open to both members of the GSCC and non-members. There is an admission fee to attend the event — $5 for current chamber members and $15 for those that are not members.
The evening mixer will be taking place between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m at the First Bankers Trust Company building located at 2201 Wabash Ave. in Springfield. The company is also acting as the event’s sponsor.
The GSCC encourages those planning to attend to bring business cards, since the event offers a great opportunity to connect with other business leaders.
The GSCC aims to serve the business community within the city and to facilitate the economic and business environment through activities that help to attract new businesses and to retain those that are already within the city limits. The chamber also acts as an advocate in local, state and federal issues relating to business measures.
