Sangamon County Community Resources Committee met March 28.
Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:
Members Present: Linda Fulgenzi, Jason Ratts, Rose Ruzic, Lori Williams
Members Absent: Vera Small, Todd Smith
Others Present: Sharmin Doering, Anne Schneider, Denise E. McCrady (Secretary)
Chair Fulgenzi called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Fulgenzi requested a motion to approve the minutes from February 28, 2018. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Williams and seconded by Ratts. Motion carried (4-0).
Sharmin Doering, Community Resources, presented the Committee with her monthly report. Doering will send information on a five year contract with Ameren to Committee members prior to the next meeting. A complete copy of the Executive Director Report is on file in the County Board Office.
Anne Schneider, LLWA, addressed the Committee requesting approval of a Resolution to award a contract to Lawrence Education Center to serve out-of-school youth in the amount of $162,866. A motion to approve the request and forward to the County Board was made by Williams and seconded by Ruzic. Motion carried (4-0).
Schneider requested approval of a Resolution to award an incumbent worker training contract to HSHS Medical for medical records training in an amount not to exceed $25,000. A motion to approve the request and forward to the County Board was made by Ratts and seconded by Ruzic. Motion carried (4-0).
Schneider requested approval to dispose 20 computers, 14 monitors and one typewriter. A motion to approve the equipment disposals was made by Williams and seconded by Ratts. Motion carried (4-0).
Schneider presented to the Committee her monthly report. A complete copy of the Executive Director Report is on file in the County Board Office.
Fulgenzi requested a motion to accept both Executive Director reports. A motion was made by Ruzic and seconded by Williams. Motion carried (4-0).
There was no old business or public comment.
Fulgenzi requested a motion to approve the requisitions. A motion to approve the requisitions was made by Williams and seconded by Ratts. Motion carried (4-0).
A motion to adjourn was made by Ratts and seconded by Ruzic. Motion carried (4-0). Meeting adjourned.
