Report: New Holland-Middletown spent $11,106 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at New Holland-Middletown Elementary School District 88 is down 2 percent from five years ago, according to a Sangamon Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Logan County school district spent $11,357 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,106 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 118 to 116.

New Holland-Middletown's spending in 2016-17 was 14 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
