Village of Chatham issued the following announcement on June 22.
On Monday, June 25th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Village of Chatham will kick off the “Windows into the Future of Chatham” at the Chatham Public Library. Residents will have the opportunity to learn about the comprehensive planning process being used to update Chatham’s Comprehensive Plan and will be asked to provide input about how Chatham should develop in the next 20 years and what residents would like to see happen in Chatham. The staff of the Springfield-Sangamon County Regional Planning Commission will host the event. If residents are unavailable to attend on Monday, you may still participate by stopping by the library from Tuesday, June 26th to Tuesday, July 3rd. Library staff will direct you to the “Windows into the Future of Chatham” where you can provide your input on library windows by answering several questions. For more information contact Patrick McCarthy at pmccarthy@chathamil.net or 217-697-5809.
