City of Atlanta issued the following announcement on Nov. 27.
Wells Fargo will present a check for $200,000 to Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms to help provide rapid re-housing opportunities for 140 homeless families in Atlanta. Funds will be matched by HomeFirst and paired with other investments, including Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funds. Atlanta is the first city in the Southeast to use TANF for homeless families, as these dollars are typically used for child welfare services and foster care only.
