Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Jan. 11.
The Logan County Department of Public Health, Lincoln Park District and the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Community Health Collaborative will host a Community Wellness Expo on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 9am-1pm. The event will take place inside the Lincoln Park District on the basketball and tennis courts.
Admission and parking at the Wellness Expo is free to the public. In 2018, over 650 attended the event. The 2019 event is planned to host over 70 vendors, free health screenings, free cooking demonstrations by Flossie and Delzena’s Gourmet Grind & Gifts, food for sale by Peggy’s Place, free inflatables including an obstacle course and bounce house, free children’s cooking demonstrations and more.
Any interested organizations or businesses who would like to have a table at the event must register for a booth in advance with the Logan County Department of Public Health by Friday, January 18. Booth space is $15 for businesses and free for not-for-profits. There is limited space. For a registration form, call Salena Matson at 217-735-2317 or e-mail smatson@lcdph.org.
