Report: Princeton spent $9,047 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Princeton Elementary School District 115 is up 3.8 percent from five years ago, according to a Sangamon Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Bureau County school district spent $8,713 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,047 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1077 to 1172.

Princeton's spending in 2017-18 was 32.2 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
