Report: New Holland-Middletown spent $11,283 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at New Holland-Middletown Elementary School District 88 is up 12.9 percent from five years ago, according to a Sangamon Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Logan County school district spent $9,997 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,283 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 110 to 100.

New Holland-Middletown's spending in 2017-18 was 15.4 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
