Toronto/ University of Illinois at Springfield home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Toronto/ University of Illinois at Springfield, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $7,985 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $129,000 - a 5.8% decrease over the $136,985 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Toronto/ University of Illinois at Springfield in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Toronto/ University of Illinois at Springfield for 2017 was $3,034.30. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,004.60. This marks an increase of 1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
