Lincoln home prices fall in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Lincoln fell by $30,250 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $47,500 - a 38.9% decrease over the $77,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Lincoln in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for 2017 was $1,814. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,817. This marks an decrease of 0.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.8%.
