Lincoln home prices rise in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Lincoln rose by $16,400 while total sales decreased by 15.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $81,900 - a 25% increase over the $65,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 33 homes sold in Lincoln in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for 2017 was $1,814. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,817. This marks an decrease of 0.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
