Jerome home prices rise in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Jerome, a Springfield neighborhood, rose by $5,250 while total sales decreased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $89,200 - a 6.3% increase over the $83,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Jerome in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Jerome for 2017 was $1,622. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,578. This marks an increase of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
