Arlington Heights home prices fall in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Arlington Heights, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $10,900 while total sales decreased by 70%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $30,600 - a 26.3% decrease over the $41,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Arlington Heights in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Arlington Heights for 2017 was $1,058. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,024. This marks an increase of 3.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.5%.
