Atlanta home prices fall in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Atlanta fell by $47,250 while total sales increased by 150%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $71,000 - a 40% decrease over the $118,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Atlanta in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Atlanta for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,805, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
